Building for Southeast Michigan Sites
Construction has begun at both southeast Michigan expansion sites to prepare them for 50 students each from the College of Osteopathic Medicine
2009 entering class. Workers are renovating a portion of the old Hutzel Hospital on the Detroit Medical Center campus. At Macomb University Center, site clearance is finished for a new MSUCOM building, expected to be completed in January 2010; existing space there will be leased until the building opens. Virtual tours of all three MSUCOM sites are online:
East Lansing, Macomb and DMC.
