MOPAC At Work

Our own Anthony Ognjan, D.O., Michigan Osteopathic Political Action Committee (MOPAC) chair staffed the MOPAC booth during the three days of the Michigan Osteopathic Association conference. Members were invited to send e-mails to their legislators regarding the Smoking Ban, Chiropractic Scope of Practice and Medicare Cuts. Members were able to donate to MOPAC on-site and were then entered in a raffle for great prizes.

Many Macomb physicians attended the recent Michigan Osteopathic Association's Capitol House Call event in Lansing. Before speaking with our legislators, we were given the following briefing papers on four key legislative issues for discussion. MCOMA asks that you take a moment to familiarize yourself with these issues so that you may become an informed participant.

2008 Capitol House Call BCBSM Briefing Paper
